I Am Over 30, Have You Seen Him?
I am often intrigued by my conversations with my friends and other women over 30 years old on finding love, relationships, and marriage. Their perspectives and encounters with love differ; some are actively dating (in-person and virtually). Some are in non-progressing courtships, some are open to a new relationship, and some have accepted that they may die an old maid. Still, one thing is for sure, they want to be married. When talking with them, their wifey qualities are evident: beautiful, graceful, smart, witty, together with good cooking and housekeeping skills. Yet, they are single, most never married, and wondering where their man is?
Student Loans Love Me, They Love Me Not
For those of you who are home and out of work due to job closures and lay-off, enrolling in a post-secondary educational program may not be such a bad idea right now. Program requirements are more laxed and student loan funding is readily available making it a prime opportunity. I encourage everyone to accept student loan funding with caution, especially if the amount offered is well over what you need. I feel a little hypocritical for even saying such a thing because most times, I accepted every penny that was offered, and I am paying for it now in more ways than one.
